rustic industrial loft ceremony on the urban eastside

rebecca of rebecca rizzo photographics contacted me earlier this year about a styled shoot that the redd on salmon was putting on. the redd is one of the newer venues from ecotrust (they also have beautiful venues like the their rooftop terrace & the irving street studio, also new). the redd has been under construction for a while i think, at least their venue portion of it was. luke & i went to the redd a few years back for one of adam garcia’s talent shows with design week pdx. it was still under construction, as i remember adam kindly asking guests to not slam the door of the porter potties that were behind the stage, haha. this time when i went to visit, it was much nicer & fully finished with no porter potties, and a beautifully renovated kitchen. (fun fact: this venue is also connected to an industrial kitchen that small businesses can use throughout the week!)

the redd had rebecca organize this shoot that focused on supporting women of color. it was so fun to be a part of this & meet other fellow ladies of color in the wedding industry, i loved it!

sherine with vintage meets modern killed it with the decor & rentals. i didn’t grab a pic of it, but she had a lovely lounge area complete with couches & coffee tables & cute rugs, for guests to enjoy themselves at. it provided an extra space to mingle & i loved it! always helps when it’s cute.

emee of ejp events styled the shoot, organizing the beautiful long dining table complete with champagne buckets - a must for any wedding celebration!

and helen & makana from cake nouveau were sooo fun to hang with as they set-up their cakes. these ladies are my favorite & the most fun. if you need any pastries for anything, you have to get it from them - they are pure magic.

there were many more wonderful & talented ladies & hearts that contributed to this shoot. and as you can tell from the pictures, we all worked wonderfully together. i can’t wait to work with these ladies again in the future! xo
