it was such a privilege to make these programs for justin & naoko’s wedding in JAPAN! these friends of mine live in japan but got married in northern, ireland. and i made these special pieces for them from portland, oregon. it was truly an international affair. wow! it was such an honor to make these colorful pieces for you two, justin & naoko - thank you for letting me be a part of your special day.

wow, this was a nice throwback to my days of when i made wedding for signage! it really is nice to look back at these pictures & be proud of what i did and be so happy with how things look! i swear one of my problems is that i am never happy with things when i make them. looking back on these pictures, i am SO proud! at the very least, today i can start thinking about how proud the future me will be of what i am making today. haha, i guess i will just have to take that for now.

i can’t believe i never shared these pictures! but honestly, i can. tbh, i am super behind in my blog posts, so you are going to see a lot of old posts that i never got around to posting - let’s think of it like a scrapbook with sweet memories. it’s a blast from the past! and never has a blast from the past been so sentimental, it is so fun to see these pictures of a modern calligraphy workshop in portland, oregon at tea bar. it is pretty wild to think about at this point, a bunch of strangers meeting up? in a public place? we all look so care free & young! haha, #TBT for real.

mady of madeline moore events asked me if i could do some fun calligraphy on this bottle of champagne to surprise the lovely couple with. i was delighted to - of course!

rebecca rizzo of rebecca rizzo photographics contacted me earlier this year about a styled shoot that the redd on salmon was putting on. the redd is one of the newer venues from ecotrust (they also have beautiful venues like the their rooftop terrace & the irving street studio, also new). the redd has been under construction for a while i think, at least their venue portion of it was. luke & i went to the redd a few years back for one of adam garcia’s talent shows with design week pdx.

this shoot was such a miracle. i remember that the whole week it was pouring down rain, and it miraculously stopped raining the morning of this shoot. #meanttobe and now we get to enjoy these beautiful pictures (which also got featured in the winter edition of wedventure earlier this year! my first published piece - yay!)
